I had a dreaded gut feeling Pope was leaving going into the Dance.
I posted my concern on CB and people thought I was crazy.
I did not see the Kentucky job coming. That was a shocker.
It's obvious now Pope worked hard at BYU to use it as a launch pad.
Very smart of him. It's really a wise business model to self-promote.
Still, for us Cougar guys, it's painful.
Pope was never a BYU guy. Just a "next step" stop-over.
