my kid is 5 and getting into baseball. he plays a lot of wiffle ball with my older kids and catch with soft balls and whatever.

he does everything in life left handed, but he throws righty mostly. sometimes he throws lefty too, but i bet it's like 70/30.

do i let his preference for righty win or should i go all in on having him be a lefty with all the attendant weirdness that comes with it on the baseball field?

i just don't want him to lose a year or two throwing one way and then have to switch later.
