I work in healthcare staffing, and obviously not the expert on medicine
as a career like you are. But from my observation, the advanced practice (PA, NP, CRNA) route seems a really good option for medicine. Less school and make good money right away. Not doc money, but you're earning a good living three to four years outside of your bachelors degree vs. 10 years for docs. The time value of money really works to your advantage if you're smart. I would think there's less paperwork than docs have, but I'm not sure.

Thoughts?

Congrats on the retirement BTW!
