I haven't posted here that much but love this topic. I live in Seattle but am a die-hard BYU fan. The Pac-10 doesn't gain as much adding both BYU and Utah from a TV market perspective (either one gives them SLC). They add Denver and SLC and they own a nice chunk of the west.

BYU gives the Big XII the SLC market plus the bonus of BYU's national following (a bit more TV, travels well to bowls with the "built-in" LDS audience in most regions).

I am a bit surprised though that we're not hearing about TCU as much, but again what do they gain by adding them if they have UT and OU...
