That's not how it went down

Dont have the exact time but it went something like this:

1. Approximately 45 mins before kick-off BYU was doing those passing drills where they rotate the QBs and the sets. There are some defensive drills they do intermingled in this.

2. Utes emerge onto the field and a group of about 12 of them strut over towards the 50 yard line and are jawing at BYU players who had their back turned towards them. The Ute players were making gestures and acting in a taunting way. Hard to describe but you know it when you see it.

3. BYU players turn around and start jawing back. This is wheyn Diluigi broke away and started in on his jawing.

4. Ute coaches and BYU coaches come over and push their players back away from each other.

Bottom line, Ute players started the fracus like they seem to always do each year before the game.

Is this some kind of pre-game ritual you all do for all of your opponents?
