Secondly, I've never heard anything about merchandise sales at BYU, but I have no idea how Utah could possibly have more merchandise sales than BYU. I live in Spokane right now, and if you go to any ward function, you will probably see $500+ in BYU merchandise walking around, and $0-50 Utah merchandise. It has been this way everywhere I have lived out of Utah.

Utah claiming that they have more merchandise sales than is the same as Utah claiming that RES is sold out every week.

And it's not like BYU's stuff is inexpensive. Bookstore stuff is costly.
