I said multiple times that BYU has a better national fanbase than Utah, and out travels us. But I also pointed out that BYU's fan base is not nearly as big as the Notre Dames, USC's, Florida's, Ohio State's of the world etc..

He seemed to take offense at that.

My point was even if you assumed every one of the 6.1 million Mormons in this country was a sports fan (they're not) and even if everyone was a BYU fan (again they're not), that is nowhere near the national fan bases that others have.

When you decided to make this about my Utes, I posted that Utah has had better television ratings in bowls games the past decade than BYU, and that is even if you don't include the BCS bowls.

Fact, BYU's highest tv ratings for a bowl game the past 10 years was the 2009 Las Vegas bowl at 2.58. Utah has had 5 bowl games the past 10 years that have had better numbers than BYU's highest. Obviously the two BCS games, Utah's two Vegas bowls, and the 2008 Poinsetta bowl all got better ratings than the 2009 Vegas bowl.
