by Blu-82. People on this board were blasting me before even reading the thread he is referring to. Why, because I was a Ute fan, and nothing more. They didn't even bother to look at my words, just that I was identified as a Utah fan, and that was enough for them.

I have had several reasonable conversations on this board. I have actually had BYU fans on recent threads give me props for being reasonable.

I have wrote several times BYU has a bigger national fan base than Utah, and that Utah's new found money will likely have little effect on the rivalry. BYU is the church school and will always have the money it needs. Several BYU posters have given me "props" for my "reasonable" posts. But it seems when I disagree with some, it is automatically labeled a flame.

I came with no intention of flaming, just a different viewpoint. Unfortunately, this board is full of insecure cougars that when someone shares a different opinion, they go into attack mode. I am guessing most of them are the "younger" posters. I would assume you are in high school or early college.

Now all on here are not like that. I have had quite a few posters contact me to say what an idiot they thought Blu-82 was for posting this thread after actually reading what I wrote. I also contacted a few to apologize for this thread taking up their board, as it was all started simply because on another thread I voiced my opinion that BYU's high ratings for their game against Florida had more to do with the Jimmer phenomenon than BYU's fan base---that was my opinion. Not unreasonable, but obviously worthy to start another thread bashing me and making up lies about what I said. Anyone who wants to read his thread starter, and then read the thread he is referring to can see that.

He does not want to have civil conversations with those that have different viewpoints. Apparently you don't either.

So in the future if I respond to you, I will make sure to march lockstep with the BYU independence propaganda that everything is going to be the "bestest evah"!
