I think much of what you are saying makes sense. I also think some fans on here have their heads stuck in the sand because the "ideas" are coming from utes.

Reading between the lines...I think you are saying, "don't you need Utah to be successful in the Pac to validate BYU's season if successful this year?" Whether it's true or not, good idea or not, nobody on here is going to side with the idea of Utah being successful even if it benefits their own team. I have to agree, no matter how logical it would be to need utah to have success, it isn't even something I have a decision over. Besides, it would be further giving in to the "talking heads" of college football to now cheer for your rival just to take away ammunition from them.
