For a long time BYU officials believed the two schools
were linked re. moving to a better conference, ie. neither would go without the other. Utah obviously didn't buy that premise, while BYU was naive to think so. I hope the latest situation convinces BYU officials that it is a dog-eat-dog world, to stop begging Utah for a game and to cancel all sports between the two schools. If they don't need us, why do we need them?
