Black lab... hands down. They are great with kids....

If you can get through the 'chewing on everything' phase.... their is no better dog if you like big dogs.

Medium dog = miniature american eskimo another great tempered and obedient dog.

small dog.. Chihuahua. Great lap dog, ( small turds) easy to feed, my my son loves it... although it is not real good with real small children... likes to nip at my grandkids when they bug her too much.
