I think Mangum will be good, but there are a lot of question marks. We have 3 or 4 decent running backs, but I don't know if we have one that can be a game-changer.
The wide receiver situation doesn't inspire much confidence. There's Trinnaman, who was decent last year, and then a bunch of unknowns. Tight ends are kind of the same way. MLP and Balderree were ok last year, but I don't know if either will be a go-to guy. I think Bushman could become that, but he's completely unproven in an actual game.
The starting OL should be pretty good at run blocking, but their pass protection last year wasn't good and will need to be much improved for a QB like Tanner to be effective. Also, I'm not sure how great the OL depth is. It consists mostly of guys who either have zero experience or just aren't very good athletes. If someone gets hurt on the OL, I worry there may be a considerable drop off.
I think the defense may have to win us some tough games this year, because I just don't see this offense being all that high-powered.
