Detmer didn't choose asst, coaches he was given Kalani's guys which Detmer had to teach as well as players. He got inexperienced assistants which meant he couldn't just turn pieces of the offense over to them. Poor plan by the head coach and when it failed someone had to be the scapegoat. At least the current OC got his guys so maybe Kalani learned something.
