I regularly attend college games that have nothing to do with Utah or BYU. Each stadium has its own feel, but most the time the fans are generally the same. You will always find the very welcoming fans, you'll find those that aren't and you will always find obnoxious fans. The only state them I've ever had a fan tell me they will never go back to is Res. While that might make sense when you talk about the BYU Utah rivalry. This was a comment from a USC fan who took his family to Res and was absolutely blown away by the behavior. He had been all over the country watching games in very hostile environments but at no time before had he expressed seeing such a disgusting show by fans. His comments had talking to do with mormons or BYU. He was simply blown away that such behavior was going on so rapidly in the stadium. To my knowledge he has never gone back and never will.
