Why is this so freaking hard for you to comprehend? If a team finishes 4-9 the year before
and has a bottom 20 offense, faces 4 of 5 P5 teams on the road, plays two teams in the top 6 on the road, probably has a true freshman at QB getting thrown in the deep end against that lopsided schedule, what do you honestly think that team will do?
It's not a question of whose fault it is or was.
4-9 is the starting point. The above considerations says why 6-6 is a reasonable expectation. Like I said before, plug in a completely new coaching staff right now and I'd give you the same answer, so I'm giving Kalani the same standard I'd give them.
