...well, I think it's weird when people say "He died doing what he loved."
We'll have to disagree there. I doubt there was much love for the activity in that moment. I'd guess the final thoughts would be more like "Why???" or "NOOOOOOO!"

And maybe that was part of His plan - to give people the opportunity to NOT pass judgment on another person's decisions.
