I'm really torn on stuff like this. One hand, I think life is so much better when we are setting goals and working to reach them, and also seeking adventure and lifelong memories. But on the other hand, we know that the purpose of this life is *not* about chasing thrills or adding amazing photos to our personal scrapbooks. Especially when you consider that life is a precious gift from God, it seems wasteful and ungrateful to throw it away on something relatively trivial like climbing a mountain that you really don't need to climb.
