Oh, I see what you mean. Yeah, I guess I just assumed the negative effect on
the family left behind was implied and obviously most important. But good point, that's worth mentioning.
Even in the case of a 50- or 60-year old guy whose children are all grown up, they will still miss him as a father figure and grandfather to their children. And obviously the wife is left with 30 or 40 years of being alone, which is probably not what she was hoping for in her marriage.

And maybe that was part of His plan - to give people the opportunity to NOT pass judgment on another person's decisions.
