Aren’t you just asking for someone to move in and claim their animal is an ESA animal?

Then there’s nothing you can do as far as I’m aware. I think that’s why landlords charge for it, because they have less tenants that just use the ESA to get around it and they make some money in the process.

I’m not a landlord. Just curious about this.

I installed vinyl flooring and charge them $50 a pet a month. I get $100 a month from some current tenants...

I’ve only got a couple of rentals, but I haven’t had trouble finding pet free tenants.
