I agree it is time to abandon independence. It is not attracting p5 caliber
Players as was hoped. Most teams who join a p5 conference need time to build up their p5 caliber depth. With being in a p5 they have a shot of improving their recruiting. I am not so sure that being independent will draw enough p5 talent in time before the program implodes. The front heavy schedule. boring late schedule and lack of meaningful conference games. Has not been a successful recipe for BYU so far. And sorry the wcc basketball is only good for the west coast fans to have an opportunity to see BYU play in person. Caliber of games is sub par.
