Fresno was given a one-time exception for the series with Minnesota. It's not
an ongoing exception that permanently counts them as a P5 school like BYU or Notre Dame. If any school wants to schedule Fresno in the future, they'll have to go back to their conference and get the conference to approve them as a P5 equivalent. Whether or not the conference accepts Fresno as a P5 equivalent will depend on how Fresno is playing in the future and whether they're winning games or not.
