I was talking to a HS football coach in VA. He said the exact opposite.
He absolutely loves Bronco. Said he’s one of the nicest people he’s ever met, and is apparently very well liked in Virginia.
It was just one HS football coach, but it wouldn’t surprise me at all if the stories about Bronco’s awkwardness while at BYU were exaggerated.

The media was pretty tough on him. Fans also had thin skin with some of his comments. Bronco went all in

Gordon Monson was deeply offended by Bronco quoting from the BoM in his first press conference, and he never forgave
