The part confusing to me is the vet wanted to charge you $5k and then had a
solution as simple as eating rice and ground beef.
But only told you that after you called his bluff and said to put the dog down.

My Dr is a swindler like that too. He recommended a hernia surgery. It was THOUSANDS out of pocket. I said no.
