My son was on a good P1 team that had done really well in the past. They did well this year but didn’t dominate as in years past. A lot of the parents/sons were dissatisfied with where the team chemistry was headed so pretty much everyone left. Luckily my son is ending up on another good P1 independent team with many of his former teammates. We are happy with how things ended. I was nervous moving on but we made it his decision and this was very much what he wanted.

My daughter stayed with her club team but they are moving from UYSA to the GA (a very young, new version of ECNL) It was kind of a club decision so we didn’t have a lot of choice in the matter, but the girls all wanted to stay together as opposed to all jumping ship or splitting apart. We are all crossing our fingers that it will be a good thing, but it is too early to tell.
