Honestly, I could see them making sense for the PAC12 as a long-term investment (iff BYU is a non-starter for the PAC12 for other reasons), but given where the Big 12 is right now, they need more immediate reinforcements.

UNLV is a team that conferences should be keeping an eye on and thinking about checking in a decade from now.
