I agree the defense has improvements they need to make.
But I would like to see some statistical proof that Tuiaki is a below average defensive coordinator.
BYU's recruiting scores say we have below average talent, yet in all types of scoring defense categories we are usually quite a bit above average. I just dont see a below average coach gets above average results with a depleted defense.
I'm totally open to any stats you might have to prove my point otherwise.
I hate how bad we seem to be at stopping 3rd wks longs and like I said the D definitely needs improving but I dont think we can call them anything but above average.
