I agree losing Pili was huge, but to me it's the overall trend that's concerning
1) overly vanilla scheme that still struggles to be aggressive and get stops
AND
2) really mediocre recruiting on the DL and especially at DE (BYU has always struggled here but I believe scheme has made it even worse than average).
And tackling this year has been really poor.
