I get the impression that he's OK with the attention.
I think it's OK to chuckle at his enthusiasm - that slow-motion video with the announcers making some comment about no person having that much energy, for example, was hilarious. And the look on his face - right into the camera - I'm sure he knew it was a bit of a spectacle. Great.
But I think there's a difference between making fun of someone and recognizing them for what they're doing themselves. Yeah - it's a fine line. But it's there.
