Kind(ness) is a close synonym or closely related to aspects to charity and love

which is / are a commandment. There is a half page of references to kindness (ignoring the references for kind as a synonym for class or type) in the scripture Topical Guide. Several are direct quotes of Jesus. I'll assume that we will be judged in the afterlife in part on our kindness to others based on the regular references in the scriptures, including the statements from Jesus.
