It’s not looking that good, early. But most four stars and some higher rated 3 stars will make decisions partially on NiL, and BYU doesn’t play the pay game like many others. Utah is also cleaning up with many Lds kids right now due to their recent Rose Bowls and reputation for putting players in the league. I don’t think that’ll necessarily last forever with KW and depending on what happens to their conference affiliation. If they stay in the pac their exposure won’t be as good.
The good news is when recruits figure out that it’s not all about flash or money, they go looking for a second location so the transfer portal will help build depth. Also byu camps are in June and they typically add multiple then. I don’t know how many high profile ones they’ll be, but it’s early.
