Zach Wilson is not the answer. BYU’s problem is coaching.

Are you a current temple recommend holder? Maybe you could be the coach.

Why troll a legit opinion?

I just think the whole "fire the coach" opinion, while legit, is tired.

Purely curious, how long is "enough time" for you?

Personally, I would give Kalani another year or two. If we fire him now,

Agree that people expecting much out of 18 yo freshman are setting themselves up for disappointment

Except that there are quite a few freshmen QB's succeeding in college football

Poor WRs core, missed blocking schemes, singular run-game player, etc

A good QB can solve a lot of WR issues.... I expect or WRs to look better with someone else throwing them the ball

The problems are not mutually exclusive. It’s not an either or problem. It’s both coaching and QB play... if at least

They may be though. Tanner looked good before Sitake and crew showed up, and

I agree that coaching is a huge problem... but the worst of coaches can’t hold some players back. Think Baker Mayfield

Russell Wilson was terrible at NC State

They made a 5th year sr Taysom Hill look like a very poor passer

TBF, 1-4th year Taysom's weren't good passers

I think he was worse as a 5th year player. He was looking pretty good too start

At this point, we have nothing to lose by playing Wilson and in his limited reps

Wilson is the future, then that's the singular reason he should start

Anae is a master of tailoring his offense to the strengths of his players.

Anae was also terrible at getting the OL the do anything other than pass block

True. A good coach wouldnt use a putter when he needs to drive the ball 200 yds

Coaches also can’t coach lack of talent either

BYU has more talent than USU and UMASS, but BYU lost to both.

Good coaches get the most out of the talent they have, our coaches aren’t doing that at the moment in my opinion

Read my post, I said we don't have the coaching or the talent.

Your title doesn’t match your main point. Coaching and strategy CAN overcome

Yep. Ty wasn't the problem. Kalani is the problem. Zach is not the solution

I'm not sure what any coach could do w/BYU's current limitations

I think that is one the reasons he left. I think after 10 years at BYU
