If they make $100 million a year, then sure, that's play money. If they earn
$100k and blow it all on that kind of crap, or on less morally objectionable forms of entertainment for that matter, then they are fiscally irresponsible.

I agree with a point I think you're trying to make, that blowing money on stupid stuff can be viewed as fiscally irresponsible even if it's peanuts relative to your revenues. Like farm subsidies, for example.

But this doesn't change that fact that overall fiscal responsibility has to take into account both the revenue and spending sides of the equation.
