I just hadn't ever though to test it that way before. I've had batteries with absolutely no juice in them no matter if I had a jump connected to them overnight, they're just dead all the way. Nothing you can do with those but trade them in.
In your scenario "dang the battery is dead" is the best outcome! 🙂 I'd hate being in that situation and not have it work because then your problem is something harder to solve and fix. $70 for a new battery... done!
