gotten slower to "turn over." What do you mean by that? Is the starter having a hard time turning the engine over, or does it crank just fine, but the engine just won't fire until you crank it a while? Knowing specifically what has been happening over the past week or so will probably get you 90% of the way towards diagnosing the problem. Getting more specific on what the past week's problems have been will help narrow the issue down to an electrical issue vs a fuel supply issue.

Second, what happened when you tried to jump your car? All you said was "it didn't work." When you tried to jump start it, were you able to crank the engine without any sluggishness (i.e., it cranked fine, but you just couldn't get the engine to fire)? Or was it still sluggish while you were trying to jump start it?
