wrong all the time. Did a collaboration with a Harvard doctor, was very narrow minded to what our lab could do at first and it took a few months for him to grasp the potential of our research. Mayo Clinic doctors who missed basic anomalies in blood work. Even my daughters pediatrician failed to recognize she had eczema, and my daughter almost ended up with it permanently because she recommended nothing more than basic lotion as treatment for her rashes.
I mean no disrespect to doctors, most I know are intelligent and hard workers. But anyone who feels like MDs cannot be challenged, that they are always right, or that they always agree, lack basic critical thinking skills to assess the worth of what an MD says. I always value the opinion of an MD, but it’s not the end all be all either, and I think most self-aware MDs would agree with that.
