Exactly, if anyone should have received a warning, it should have been that ref.

The official standing over the ball that moved got it wrong.

This is what I was thinking. How can the offense know they're not supposed to snap it if

If that's the case, they should have called a penalty on Utah, not a warning on BYU.

That is the biggest issue. Ref screwed up by leaving the ball. Only way BYU

I assumed the reason it was a warning and not a penalty was due to...

I was okay with it. The point is to give the defense an opportunity to get their matchup.

I'd be fine with it if we weren't given a warning. The offense did nothing wrong

Nope, the point is they get 10 seconds to adjust. The officials mussed it up

They clearly took way too much time, there's no way that was our fault

It was Utah's fault for not getting their player off the field. The player got on just fine.

there is no 10 second limit - it's up to the official to decide if they've had enough time

Didn't BYU stub another player with less than 10 seconds to go?

not that I could see on the replay.

I just found it. BYU was jogging off the field too. I don't see anything wrong.

Haha. They should send 20 offensive players onto the field until 15 seconds left
