That's kind of my point - BYU isn't particularly strong as a graduate school option
Not saying they couldn't. They probably could, but have made a conscious effort not to focus there. I also attended the Air Force Academy and they don't have ANY grad programs, so I get it. It's a choice, but the end result is the same - weak (overall) grad programs
The idea of going to a school in Utah was appealing since it would let us live closer to my wife's family. BYU was never seriously considered, but Utah we are least took a look at. Ultimately ended up at GaTech so very happy with that choice.

Ok, just last I checked Utah was ahead in Math, Physics, Chemistry, CompSci, Engineering, Bio, History, English...

So your argument is that BYU just doesn't do STEM grad? That's kind of an argument against strong graduate school
