BYU is way better than Utah, just look at the rankings.
But...suddenly when the rankings put UW ahead of BYU, they're meaningless.
BYU is a very good academic school. And yes, better (particularly undergrad) than Utah. But Washington is better.

Ok, just last I checked Utah was ahead in Math, Physics, Chemistry, CompSci, Engineering, Bio, History, English...

So your argument is that BYU just doesn't do STEM grad? That's kind of an argument against strong graduate school
