Plan a road trip somewhere with a popular destination from your location. Assuming you are in SLC, go to Los Angeles as I15 is very charger friendly and people who watch youtube know the destinations like Vegas, etc. Have your wife (or you) drive your ICE car.
Don't break the speed limit. Stop regularly for gas, peeing, food, etc. Stay a night in Vegas or St. George (this gives the EV driver the potential advantage of a charge overnight). Then go to the beach in California, or visit Long Beach (The Battleship Iowa behind both the Tesla and your ICE car would be an AWESOME thumbnail background).
Then drive back doing the same thing.
Record total time for the ICE car + $$ Spent. Then total time for the EV Car ++ $$ Spent. Let your audience determine if using the EV on the road trip is worth it or not.
IMO, it'd be a more entertaining video than calculations.
The calculation idea is a good one (I'm kinda of a numbers nerd), don't get me wrong. But I'd think CB, X, Facebook or other written media would be a better platform for that discussion.
