The best way would be to get an EV yourself (or rent one) and document it. Even better to have an ICE engine car next
to you.

Estimations can be easily disproved and a youtube audience will happily tare holes into your thesis (be thicked skin).

My cousin lives in Colorado and took his EV to Disneyland. He'd do it again. He said it was trivial to plan charging stops when you'd normally catch food or stop for a potty break, most of I15 has fast chargers and he didn't feel he was losing any more time than an ICE engine.

Where he said he *did* have issues was California, due to older charging infrastructure, things were slower.

Once you have that kind of data (and interesting footage of an ICE car vs. EV), then you can compare charging costs vs. gas costs so you'd not only know how much cheaper and EV was, but if that savings was worth any time lost.
