the church makes investments. invest in BYU athletics, it's a good investment
please explain to me how this is any different than the mall or the insurance company. other than it's probably a better investment than those two.

you are right, the church invests a lot in byu. a ton. take that same approach now and apply it to byu sports, which is a great institution and a great investment.
doesn't make sense that we pay for those other things but won't pay for this. i have yet to hear a convincing argument about how this is any different than those other investments
