A better solution of having more capital for athletics….increase tuition.
BYU is beyond cheap. If students and alums want more money for sports then contribute.
Pay $10-12k in tuition per year. This is still a steal. We need to realize the tuition we are paying is dirt cheap yet many believe it is a right. Let’s make BYU still cheap but not as cheap.
Do the math, students/parents paying ~$5k more give the school more money to work with. Then people can stop expecting the church to fund a basketball coach.
Truth is it is a crazy idea. If we want to get real money boosters and all of you need to donate more. Tickets are relatively affordable, people should donate more.
