Guys like Shaq are few and far between. Chris Paul has to grind I'm sure. Steph has to grind. Kobe was who he was
because he grinded harder than almost anyone else. Life isn't fair and it never will be. I get how you feel. The odds are against you and your kid when a physical freak is in the way. I'm not saying anything about your kid. Maybe he is the hardest worker in the room. I don't know. You don't have many other options though. Either your kid gets to where he does things other kids cant do, no matter how big they are, or if high school sports mean that much to you then you move. You can transfer once if the family moves.

Transferring whenever you want just kicks your situation currently down the line. There will a kid who feels the same way yours does when your kid takes his place and then lets say that kid transfers. Some kid at the end of the line is going to be without a chance to play. Unfortunately in real life, unless you make it to the college level I guess, you cant just transfer every year when things don't go your way. Don't like it that you didn't get the promotion you felt you deserved? You usually can't just transfer. New boss not yours fave? You usually can't just move. Investment goes bad? You usually don't get a redo. Life sucks sometimes.

All of that being said I hope your kid gets a shot. If he isn't the hardest worker I hope he learns to be. If it's a confidence thing(as it is a lot in high school) I hope he gains confidence in himself. All you can do is the best you can do. 100 effort is all you can give. Enjoy the ride and let the chips fall where they may. "It's not about how hard you can get hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. Thats how winning is done."
