It will affect them in that they will have to spend more money to compete at the national level similar to Wasatch.
Which is what they will do I am sure. Doesn't fix the root issue but they will keep playing. I wonder if RSL saw this coming and thats why they pulled their basketball team out of UHSAA.

I am all for giving kids from somewhere else(usually living in poverty) a chance to prove themselves and maybe get a secondary education paid for if they can get to the next level but a lot of these kids they bring in don't, or barely, qualify academically for UHSAA sports. A lot of them get here to play and still haven't even gotten their ESL cert yet. Super athletic and very talented but unless you qualify academically you cant play UHSAA and you for sure won't qualify for NCAA. And some of these programs do just the bare minimum for academics. If they don't get recruited heavily for NCAA its onto a prep school somewhere else or back to where they came from.
