I just think when someone is talented enough to participate, he shouldn't have to give up something he loves while he's still a kid at the age of 15 simply because he lives in the wrong zip code.
I'm also thinking about the kid that is a really talented QB and has the potential to play in college but there is a D1 QB talent in his same class ahead of him on the depth chart. Should that kid have to forego the opportunity to earn a college scholarship simply because he lives in the wrong neighborhood? Or should he be allowed to switch schools? He may only be talented enough for SUU and not BYU, but tens of thousands of dollars in the form of a free university education is still on the line.
