Come on. These are teams that made noise in the BCS and three of them made consistent noise. All were on the outside looking in.

At one point, all three were in the BCS, after making noise outside the BCS - but Boise backed out so is no longer in a BCS conf.

BYU just needs to step it up in the win category and do so against good teams. It's that simple.

Fankly BYU has a large fan base that can support their team at away games, in the West in particular. From that stand point, they would have been a nice addition to the PAC 12. Other than that, what has BYU done in recent years that makes them so desirable? Utah made noise at the right time and for a long enough time. BYU's noise was long ago, really.

All that said, I think BYU is definitely a BCS caliber program. They should be in a BCS conference and it will only be a matter of time, if BYU wants to get in. They may not want to. Time will tell.
