Your post might end up the worst of 2014
But that isn't meaning your post is worthless. It had to be good enough to get into this category.
Many people are making fun of you because its absurd to think going back to the MWC is a good idea. We have a chance to play great teams and travel to exciting and new venues. We are building BYU's brand by getting to new places and having BYU's story told in these new venues with these new fans.
There is also things you arent considering. Many of the MWC schools are in holes for cities. Laramie, Albuquerque, Fresno, Reno, Boise, etc. Those places are awful. Additionally, the anti-mormon stuff that was said to us at Laramie and how those fans treated us is beyond the pale. As someone who used to travel around to these schools, I will NEVER miss Laramie nor Colorado Springs nor Albuquerque.
Living in Southern California now I love seeing BYU playing basketball at LMU and Pepperdine, and actually having a great seat. The Gym we played in at Pepperdine was awesome in that 75% of the place was BYU fans! It was incredible.
BYU will get better in football and we should have beaten a few more teams this year (Utah and Virigina for sure. Would winning 10 games instead of 8 games this season made the difference for you to not want to go back to the MWC? Because I really cant see where you are coming from on this.
