I'm sure you can cite to some ranking that has BYU in the top 2%, but most rankings that are objective and focus on the tangible benefits provided to students have BYU ranked closer to top 10% to top 15%. For example, the 2014 Forbes rankings of all colleges has BYU at 79th out of close to 650 schools, which is right around top 12%. The Forbes methodology is excellent and doesn't rely upon any opinions or reputation scores. BYU is a great school, but it is not in the top 2% of schools in the country. If you say top 10% to top 15%, I can buy that, but not top 2%. I sense a little academic arrogance in your post.
