I love my Surface Pro. Concerns over having the keyboard facing outwards when the Yoga is in tablet mode ended up being the deciding factor as I envisioned myself using the Surface in tablet mode. And I do use it quite a bit as a tablet.

Last summer, my family took a trip to Europe to visit family for several weeks. I fit my Surface Pro, a Plugable docking station, two USB monitors, a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, an Obi202, and a thin profile phone into a rolling computer bag and worked while over there. If it wasn't for the 8 hour time difference, people wouldn't have known that I wasn't state-side. In fact, my assistant forgot on a regular basis that I was out of the country. For heavy word processing, including Acrobat Pro annotation, my setup was a dream. All that to say that a Surface Pro can be a very capable mobile workhorse.
