Gunther is a shameless Ute homer. He just can't help himself.

If he wants to be taken seriously as a radio talk show host, he needs to check his fandom at the door. He needs to learn how to be truly objective and not wear his loyalties on his sleeve. It's hard to take him seriously when it's so obvious that he's just a Ute honk.
